Violist Ruth Frazier began her musical studies on the violin at the age of four with the assistant concertmaster of the Philadelphia Orchestra. She studied violin for 16 years before switching to the viola while in her junior year at Temple University’s Esther Boyer College of Music. Ms. Frazier is a member of The Philadelphia Ballet, The Delaware Symphony, and performs regularly with Opera Philadelphia.
