Miss Musique

Justin Yoder is a versatile performer and teaching artist. Based in Philadelphia, Justin holds degrees in cello performance from Goshen College and from Temple University, where he studied under renowned soloist Jeffrey Solow. When he’s not making music with Miss Musique, Justin can be found performing with classical ensembles throughout the region and as a regular pit musician with several of the area’s leading theatre companies. He is frequently sought after as a studio musician, and his playing is featured on the soundtracks of several recent films and series from major distributors, including Netflix, Universal Pictures, and A24. Justin serves on the faculty of The Haverford Conservatory and maintains a private cello studio in West Philadelphia for students of all ages. In addition to his work as a cellist, Justin is a freelance choral conductor, theatrical music director, and occasional actor. He is the proud co-parent of Art Isn’t Easy, an ongoing parody web series that satirizes the snobbery, self-absorption, and hubris of (some) artists.
