Using Miss Musique was probably the easiest part of my wedding planning experience! I was planning my wedding from across the country and they were very accommodating through website, phone and email. Miss Musique was very helpful with the selection of my ceremony music and assisting in suggestions for what instruments to use. They were also flexible in doing traditional and non-traditional songs. Choosing the music for our wedding was so simple with Andrea’s guidance. She was able to capture our personalities in each of her music suggestions and put together a truly special program for our wedding.
We asked for 4 musicians (2 violinists, 1 violist, and 1 cellist) for our wedding and on the day of the wedding the group arrived promptly, dressed professionally, and were set up and playing for our guests. Most importantly, the musicians at our wedding were wonderfully talented and the music was beautiful.

I hired a duo, a cello and violin, through Miss Musique to play during my wedding ceremony and cocktail hour in Glen Mills, PA. Every communication through email and phone was prompt and professional. I wasn’t sure what music I wanted played for the ceremony, so Andrea recommended several choices for the processional, bride entrance, and recessional. She sent me the songs as MP3 files so I could listen to each choice and make a decision. We were very happy with all our selections when they were played during the wedding. The day of our wedding, the musicians came and set up on time. They were dressed very professionally in black tuxedos. The musicians played while our guests were being seated and for the processional of our ceremony. We could have had them play during the ceremony, but we chose to have a short ceremony with no readings or music. It was a little chilly on the day of our outdoor wedding, but if the musicians were cold you couldn’t tell. The music was wonderful and flawless. Our guests loved the classical rendition of contemporary songs during the cocktail hour. My only regret is that we could not enjoy them more! We were very busy with pictures away from where the musicians were set up for our guests at the cocktail hour so we only got to hear a few songs. I would highly recommend Miss Musique for your wedding ceremony and/or cocktail hour.

We wanted a musician for a small ceremony, and selected Miss Musique after reading some online reviews. The prices were some of the best that we had seen from several quotes we had received. We had only a solo violinist, so I wasn’t sure what songs to pick for our processional and recessional and she sent me many suggestions and sound clips and answered my many questions quickly and patiently. Our violinist was excellent. We had many compliments on how lovely the music was. Our minister even mentioned that out of the hundreds of wedding musicians he had heard she was easily one of the best. Miss musique was recommended to me by a family friend. I had not heard them play before our wedding day – but they were fabulous. We requested a three piece ensemble and all arrived early and dressed professionally. I am not very familiar with the music selections and Andrea was great about providing suggestions for the various parts of the ceremony as well as clips for me to review. They played for our outdoor ceremony at bedford springs and the cocktail hour – and traveled an hour and a half from pittsburgh to do so. I would (and will) recommend them to my friends!

We received so many wonderful compliments about how talented they were. We had the ceremony audio professionally recorded and it is seriously CD quality. So, I am no expert when it comes to classical music, but I knew I didn’t want to walk down the aisle to Bridal March or Pachelbel Canon in D. Andrea, was super helpful and suggested several songs for the entire ceremony, with my favorite suggestion being “Clair de Lune” for when I walked down the aisle. That was exactly the song I was looking for. We decided to use a string trio and they were on time, polite, extremely professional, and most importantly, played beautifully. Our banquet manager even remarked they were the best string trio that had ever played at our venue. Now, during most of the prelude I was hidden away so I couldn’t hear much of the music, but my husband did tell me they were great and I thought they did a great job during the processional and recessional. Also, a super value – most string trios or quartets were well outside our budget, Miss Musique was right on with price and a great value!

We were in a last minute panic of finding a violinist to play alongside our friends at our ceremony and I thought finding the right person, letting alone finding anyone (!), would be quite the task.
